MOVEMENT FOR ACTORS: Athletes of Emotion (Grade 9-12) $195
Mondays, 6 Weeks, Sept 11- October 16. 7:00 – 8:30 pm

Stimulate and free your imagination and create fully dimensional characters. This exciting class adds a new dimension to actor training. Learn to express and communicate character life through movement and physicality. Various techniques of body dynamics including Mask Work, (truthful expression through character and neutral masks); Rasaboxes (discover emotional range in moment-to-moment monologue work based on ancient Sanskrit) and exercises of Chekov, Myerhold and others, are geared to help the actor gain awareness and confidence and strengthen characterization through the use of the exercises addressing free-form movement, ritual movement, head-body connection, character building and storytelling through movement, to provide students an enriched palette of tools for approaching fully realized character work.

Overwhelmed by the audition process? Need to find confidence in in-person auditions? This class is for you. Master the art of the monologue! Spruce up your repertoire! This class will provide the tools necessary to successfully present through the art of the monologue audition. The primary focus is putting together a professional audition that serves you as well as your craft. Take the fear out of the audition process, reignite your passion for the getting the job, and start to enjoy auditioning!
ACTING TECHNIQUE (Ages 18+)

This class creates a fun and safe environment for you to explore your creativity by working to develop basic acting and communication skills that can be used in any area of life. JOY OF SINGING: Technique, Performance, and Auditions (Ages 18+)

This is the perfect class to find the power in your voice. Instructions in vocal technique will help you expand your range, make meaningful acting choices, and become confident vocal storytellers. Celebrated actress Teri Ralston whose association with Stephen Sondheim shares her many years of experience performing on Broadway, and in Cabaret around the world, providing students with a unique insight into the art and joy of singing.
